W2M Laser welding machines are 2-10 times faster than conventional arc welding, depending on the circumstances. Thermal exposure in laser welding is more accurate, faster and significantly shorter than in arc welding, which significantly reduces thermal distortion.
The laser-welded seam is high-quality, durable, flat and clear, even on a manual machine, so the need for any post-treatment is significantly reduced. W2M Laser’s handheld laser welder meets the requirements of the EN ISO 15614-11:2002 standard for 316L steel with material thicknesses of 1–4 mm.
